Why is it necessary to have a customer account to buy sheet music?

The online shop noty.online offers you the possibility to buy sheet music and save it to your computer as a PDF or print it on your own printer. Setting up a user account allows you to buy sheet music and view in PDF or print later. So you can buy sheet music via your mobile phone or tablet and later when you are on your computer or device that is connected to a printer you can view and print the sheet music by logging into your user account. The user account also gives you an overview of the sheet music you have purchased on the e-shop and helps you check if you have accidentally selected sheet music you already have.
Purchasing sheet music via the e-shop noty.online is not possible without a user account.
For more information, see Why do I have to register?

Can I buy the sheet music and print it later ?

Yes, all your purchased sheet music will be stored in your customer account where you can view and print it at any time.
So you can buy sheet music on your computer, notebook, tablet or mobile phone that is not connected to a printer and print it anytime later, directly from your customer account when you have a printer available.

How many times can I print the sheet music?

Not only can you print the sheet music immediately, but you can also save them as a PDF file on your computer and then print them as you wish.
In your customer account, your purchased sheet music is active for several hours (sometimes days) after the first printing (saving), because it is not always possible to print the sheet music correctly the first time or save it to the right place on your computer so that you can quickly find it again for further use.

How do I view and play a song ?

When you click on the selected song, the song's product tab will open, showing all the information we know about the song. In the left half of the screen you will see a sheet music viewer with the sheet music of the song you have selected. Click the button with the arrow image (PLAY) to start playing the sheet music, and at the same time a colored line runs along the sheet music to show you which measure is currently playing.
In case you only see the picture in the preview without the music notation player, then this song is not interactive, cannot be played and can only be purchased in the displayed music notation and key.

How can I transpose sheet music?

We have prepared a separate information page for you called How to transpose and print a song
In the selected song tab you can try transposing, see how the sheet music viewer works and choose the right key for you. However, the final transposition should be done after you purchase the song, just before printing the sheet music.

I can't see the sheet music, I have a blank space instead of a score.

In case the product tab of the selected song does not appear in the left half of the screen, in the sheet music viewer field (you will not see the sheet music, but only a blank space), the remote database server of our sheet music supplier is probably overloaded.
Do not purchase the song in this case. We recommend that you visit the page of the selected song later (or on a different day) and buy the sheet music only when you see the sheet music of your song again in the product tab.

In the product tab (or before printing the sheet music), instead of displaying the sheet music, I have a picture with a circle and the word Loading.

This information in the sheet music display box informs you that sheet music is currently downloading to your web browser.
The speed of the download depends on the speed of your internet connection and sometimes also on the load of the remote server where the sheet music database is located.
Please wait until the sheet music for your sheet music viewer has downloaded and fully displayed before proceeding with your purchase, downloading or printing.
If it takes longer than usual to download the sheet music, try refreshing the page by pressing F5 and if that doesn't work, the problem is probably on the remote server and we recommend visiting the page later.

Why is the minimum order for most sheet music for vocal ensembles and choirs 5 pieces or more

The idea of publishers of sheet music for vocal ensembles and choirs is that each member of the vocal ensemble should have an original part, similar to the musicians in an orchestra. The publishers know that no one will buy a multi-voice arrangement to sing or play alone, but equally they know that few vocal ensembles will buy parts for all their members, so they have set a minimum number of pieces to be bought as a compromise between the publishers' idea and the reality. The minimum number of pieces for vocal ensembles is determined by each publisher, with some publishers selling pieces for choirs in one piece, others in five pieces, others in ten pieces, and sometimes even in twenty or more pieces. This minimum number of copies, this compromise set by the publisher, should be accepted with understanding and, above all, with joy that we can still buy these compositions and arrangements. That there are still composers, arrangers and publishers who are engaged in this almost charitable activity of writing and publishing music and by purchasing a minimum number of pieces we can to further support them in this activity.
